Planned as an ideal home in harmony with nature, eCO's “green” features includes a rain garden for rain harvesting, an eco-stream, vertical greenery and a community garden where residents can grow their own vegetables.

Changi Business Park a strong draw

Changi Business Park was launched in 1997 as part of the Government’s plans to decentralise economic activities. It had since attracted many companies seeking high quality business space outside the Central Business District (CBD). Some of the world’s leading companies at Changi Business Park include Honeywell, Xilinx, CISCO and financial institutions such as DBS Bank, Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank (Click here to view article).

The business park’s growth was supported by the many amenities and infrastructure put in place over the past few years and also a ready labour pool from the nearby suburban towns of Tampines and Simei.

Changi Business Park has evolve into a major employment hub with thousands of workers relocating there over the past 4 years. The working population is expected to grow further with the recent opening of office building, One@Changi City. The office block is more than 90 per cent occupied, with anchor tenants such as Credit Suisse and JPMorgan. The opening of One@Changi City also marks the completion of Changi City, Singapore’s largest integrated business park development which integrates business space, ONE@Changi City with retail mall - Changi City Point  and hotel -CAPRI BY FRASER. The retail mall houses shops such as Cold Storage, Koufu, Gain City, Bagus, Nike, Challenger and Tung Lok Signatures and will serve the residents and office workers in the area. Park Avenue is another hotel located opposite Changi City Point mall.

According to JTC, the park will continue to evolve, housing industries and enterprises that can leverage on the close proximity to Changi Airport, as well as incubate new industries that could emerge from Singapore University of Technology (SUTD). (Click here to view article)

Singapore’s fourth university - Singapore University of Technology (SUTD)

SUTD is a research-intensive institution that focuses on technology-intensive design education and research. Established in collaboration with MIT, SUTD is expected to serve as a new engine of knowledge creation and talent attraction that will help boost Singapore’s economy. The university is operating from its Dover campus currently and will move to its new campus at Changi by 2015.

With a growing catchment of working professionals, families, students, Changi will realise the work, live, learn and play concept. There is potential leasing demand in the area.
