Far East Hospitality

Far East Hospitality is the hospitality management arm of Far East Orchard Limited, a listed company under Far East Organization, Singapore’s largest private property developer. It operates the largest hospitality portfolio in Singapore comprising eight hotels and nine serviced residences with a combined inventory of more than 3,400 units as well as the Sri Tiara residences in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Far East Hospitality has a stable of distinctive brands "Quincy", "Oasia","Village" and "Far East Collection".

The hospitality assets operated by Far East Hospitality include a portfolio of seven hotels and four serviced residences owned by Far East Hospitality Trust, the first and only Singapore-focused hotel and serviced residence hospitality trust listed on the SGX-ST. Sponsored by Far East Organization, it is Singapore’s largest diversified hospitality portfolio by asset value.

Far East Hospitality was first established in the mid-2000s as a dedicated business division under its parent company Far East Organization to focus on the development and management of the Organization’s fast expanding hospitality portfolio. Backed by 50 years of real estate development and management expertise with a proven track record in hospitality asset enhancements and operations, Far East Hospitality has anchored a strong presence specialising in the mid-tier to upscale hospitality sectors.

Today, Far East Hospitality is a premier hospitality operator, offering a full complement of Singapore-inspired hospitality services across a wide variety of accommodation options in choice locations. It has a unique DNA defined by its people, philosophy and operational excellence. Leveraging on its strong foundations on the home front, Far East Hospitality aims to significantly grow its portfolio locally and in the region. Current hospitality projects under development in Singapore by parent company Far East Organization include three hotels and one serviced residence property. Far East Orchard is also redeveloping Plaza Atrium, a former commercial building in Kuala Lumpur, into a serviced residence property. These new hospitality developments will yield over 850 units.

Quincy

The 108-room Quincy Hotel is currently the only hotel under the Quincy brand. An all-inclusive trendy boutique hotel, The Quincy Hotel is located in the charming residential enclave of Mount Elizabeth, off the famous shopping and entertainment belt of Orchard Road. Cloaked with unreserved privacy and security, and wired with progressive technology, The Quincy Hotel offers guests the signature all-inclusive service – from meals, high-speed Internet access, laundry services, mini bars to airport transfer.

Oasia

Oasia Hotel Singapore in Novena is the first property under Far East Hospitality’s new Oasia brand. Combining renowned designer-styling with refined Asian hospitality, each Oasia Hotel exudes understated elegance and welcoming, thoughtful care. The 428-room Oasia Hotel Singapore is designed by homegrown international architectural firm DP Architects with interiors by acclaimed Japanese design firm, Super Potato and local architects Ong & Ong. Oasia Downtown, the second property under the Oasia brand, is currently under development on Peck Seah Street. Designed by award-winning WOHA Architects in collaboration with famed Spanish interior designer Patricia Urquiola, this 27-storey business hotel is set to become a visual icon dressed in a living green façade of lush “growing vertical landscapes”.

Village

Far East Hospitality’s Village Hotels & Residences brand, launched in 2009, brings together the hotels and residences within its portfolio that are uniquely located at the heart of Singapore’s cultural and ethnic enclaves. Designed to showcase the unique flavour and cultural tapestry of the locales in which it is situated, each Village Hotel and Residence property draws energy from its surrounding precincts and diverse communities to create authentic experiences of Singaporean culture for every guest.

The latest addition to the brand's stable is Village Hotel Katong in Singapore's East Coast area. Formerly the Paramount Hotel and Shopping Centre, the property was rebranded Village Hotel Katong when Far East Hospitality took over operations in mid-February 2012. Currently undergoing refurbishment, Village Hotel Katong will reflect the strong Peranakan heritage of the surrounding Joo Chiat and Katong district when it opens in the second half of 2013.

Far East Collection

Far East Hospitality also operates another two signature hotels in the prime Orchard Road area –The Elizabeth Hotel, and Orchard Parade Hotel - offering guests convenient access to Singapore’s world-renowned retail and fashion precinct.

Far East Hospitality's 9 exclusive residences in Singapore are strategically located near shopping and business areas, while the elegant Sri Tiara is a convenient 10 minutes from the Mid Valley Mega Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Asia’s largest mall.
