Located next to each other, in the eastern part of Singapore are two key industrial estates, Eunos and Kaki Bukit. Featuring largely light industrial activities, they enjoy a strategic location that is a 10-15 minutes’ drive to the city and Changi via the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). The estates are served by three MRT stations namely, Eunos, Kembangan, and MacPherson.

Eunos/ Paya Lebar

Excellent location aside, Eunos is expecting some major changes that will add to the appeal of working in this area. Earmarked by the Government as a commercial hub, the nearby Paya Lebar Central will be rejuvenated into a major commercial centre, with a mix of office, hotel, and retail spaces. The Geylang Riverfront will also be integrated with future developments that will open up more commercial activities and attractive riverfront spaces. Those working in the area will enjoy enhanced accessibility to Eunos when the new Downtown Line 3 complementing the East-West Line is up.

Kaki Bukit

While most districts in Singapore have only one, if not two industrial parks, Kaki Bukit has well over five in the estate. Businesses found here

include car marts, car showrooms, and factories dealing with electrical goods and appliances; it is also one of Singapore’s centres of goods trading and manufacturing. Amenities nearby include food centres and other facilities found in the neighbouring Bedok Town Centre.

Kaki Bukit also has a number of hostels, such as Kaki Bukit Hostel and Golden Bukit Dormitory 1 and 2.
