      EXPANDING INTO AUSTRALIA

Continuing its entrepreneurial heritage to seek new avenues for growth, Far East Organization looks to establish a sustainable presence in markets that operate to a different economic cycle from Singapore and the rest of Asia.

With its attractive urban centres, developed economy, well-regulated business environment and stable market conditions, Australia presents an attractive market for Far East Organization to build a diversified, balanced real estate portfolio with prospects for earnings diversification and growth.

Far East Organization has a growing portfolio of quality investment properties and development sites in prime locations across Australia, having invested over A$2 billion in acquisitions and joint ventures since 2013. As a long term investor in the Australian market, Far East Organization seeks to deliver and operate quality innovative real estate assets that leverage local expertise to meet the needs of businesses and communities while simultaneously building a sustainable base of recurrent income. Our strong and diverse portfolio of 21 quality operating assets and development sites is managed by an in-house specialist team that provides the full spectrum of property services and group resources to support the various business operations. This includes a local Australian office as well as the cooperation of local partners.

Far East Hospitality Holdings, a partnership between Far East Organization’s listed unit, Far East Orchard Limited, and The Straits Trading Company, has a hospitality joint venture in Australia with the Toga Group. Besides hotel ownership, TFE Hotels operates one of Australia’s largest hospitality management platforms.

In recognition of its significant commitment to Australian trade and investment, Far East Organization was presented the 2016 Commonwealth Bank of Australia Business Alliance Award by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore.
